This Saturday, October 14, 2006
The Coalition to Ban Horse-Drawn Carriages will be tabling on
the carriage horse issue on Saturday, October 14th of this week to
get signatures on petitions to the Mayor and City Council to ban the
horse-drawn carriage industry in NYC. We need people to get
signatures from passersby and to hold posters. Please join us. Our
efforts are only as good as the number of volunteers we have. This
is very rewarding work and you get to see how people really feel
about the horses and this industry.
Date: Saturday, October 14th Time: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Where: Near Central Park - information to be furnished to volunteers
