Horse Treatment is Inhumane

 Thank God someone on the City Council finally has the courage to stand up and legislate against the carriage horse trade. These animals have suffered enough for too long. I do not understand how New York could look the other way for decades, but it is time to realize that this documented inhumane treatment of animals cannot stand. And my district's councilmember will not get my vote again without supporting Councilman Tony Avella¹s bill. Readers, please make your voices heard on this.
